Enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, picnicking, bird watching, and star gazing. If your camping, bring your own firewood. All rock climbers must check in at headquarters where maps and climbing rules are available. During peak seasons (March to June and October to December), the park sometimes reaches parking capacity, and the park is temporarily closed (on weekends sometimes as early as 11 am). The park reopens when sufficient parking is available. We suggest you you call ahead to check, or make alternate plans if you arrive and the park is closed.
